You upload images of student work and answer keys. Our AI analyzes the student responses against the rubric or answer key, then generates a score and detailed feedback for each submission.

Yes, the AI can make mistakes. If you upload an incorrect answer key, the AI may get confused and provide inaccurate results. While our AI is intelligent enough to answer questions independently, uploading a proper answer key or rubric gives you more control and accuracy over the grading process.

You can upload images (JPG, PNG) and PDF files. These can be photos taken with your mobile device or scanned documents from a scanner.

Each individual image or PDF page you upload—whether it's a test script or an answer key—counts as one uploaded page.

The Pay as you go plan gives you a set number of uploaded pages (answer keys + test scripts). Every time you upload a page, it counts against your plan's limit. Grading a test typically requires uploading both the answer key and the student's test script.

The AI doesn't store information from previous grading sessions for privacy and accuracy reasons. Additionally, it's much faster and more accurate for the AI to grade one test at a time rather than multiple tests simultaneously. Grading multiple tests at once would increase the likelihood of errors and reduce the quality of feedback.

You will not be able to upload or grade more tests until you purchase additional pages.

Yes! You can purchase additional pages at any time from the Upgrade page. There is no subscription—just pay for what you need.

FirstMarker is pay-as-you-go. You only pay for the pages you use. There are no recurring charges or subscriptions.
